Everything is fine until my application goes to read the Paradox table and it crashes with message, "Unknown database alias." We've checked everything (permission, database alias, paths to files, etc.) and Click OK to exit the Registry Key Permissions dialog box. My question... You just must install the BDE on any PC you are going to run your App working with the Borland DB. In the right panel, check for the ConfigFile01 value.

  1. This will reinstall the BDE.If you removed any other programs in Path B, reinstall them now.
